Phoenix, AZ :: Maternity Photographer

Meet the MacLean family! Aren't they the cutest?! Gina and Matt were expecting a sweet, little guy but he is HERE now! Yay! And I am behind on blogging... again! LOL! But let's just pretend I blogged this a few weeks ago! ;)

This pregnancy is a singleton and they have a cute little set of twins so ready to love on their little brother!

The whole family is definitely waiting for him to make his appearance! The kiddos are so excited and so are mom and dad!

Hehehe, they were telling me how big they thought he was going to be! ;) Gina begged to differ but it was cute they gave such a sweet measurement!

Now, I don't know about you but I am pretty jealous of her belly! She's had a set of twins and you can't tell at all! Not a single stretch mark on her! Grr!

And we'll end it on the lovebirds. ;) Keep your eyes peeled for his newborn session!

Phoenix, AZ :: Family Photographer

I just love this family. We're the best of friends and our kids are too! :) I love photographing them because they are always themselves! They play and laugh and kiss and it's all without my prompts. ;)

I just love the bond siblings have! Yes, having your children close together is sometimes a challenge but the closeness they have is what makes it all worth it! And these boys love each other!

Look at this sweet little storyboard of Elijah. He's always got a smile on his face but brother ran out of his sight and he was SO SAD! Not to worry, Mommy was there to love him back to happy again! :)

What did I tell you? They are SO sweet! I love these little guys. They give me hope that if we are blessed with another little boy in the future, I can survive it! ;)

And we got a few of the whole family together! They were such troopers, though it was a WARM, Arizona day, you can't even tell! Thanks for a fun session, A family!

A Seussical FIRST Birthday!

I've been meaning to get a bit more personal on here so that you all can get to know me better, and what better way to start than by sharing our son's first birthday party with you!? ;)

I went back and forth on a theme for his birthday, it was between The Very Hungry Caterpillar and Dr. Seuss, ultimately I made the decision because I could dress my kiddos up in Thing 1 and Thing 2 shirts and this was the only year the numbers would match their age! HA! So The Very Hungry Caterpillar will be saved for another year!

I'll start with a super cute picture of our little man at his birthday party! He really enjoyed himself and rocked that Thing 1 shirt! ;)

Here is the center island! I absolutely LOVED how it turned out! My sweet hubby did NOT get my vision but he also was in love with it when we were done setting it up! That red painted "thing" in the middle with the yellow tissue paper on it was a homemade cake stand! It was SO easy and only cost like $4! I found the original instructions on pinterest and here is the website! The cupcakes were made to look like Thing One and Thing Two, with red velvet cupcake mix and cotton candy blue icing. YUM!

Made some Truffula Fruit, grapes, Marshmallow Pops, and some Veggie Cups, which are always a huge hit!

The blue drink is Beezlenut Spash, which was Sprite and blue jello, which tastes AMAZING! Next is Cat in the Hat Pops, sliced banana and strawberry, Oreo Pops and, of course no Dr. Seuss party is complete without Green Eggs and Ham!

The VERY cute cakes my Aunt made! I love the little hat on top of his smash cake!

A few more of the decorations. I made paper chains, which were cheap and really cute! The fun water bottle labels and his beautiful chair that I found on craigslist and my sweet Hubby painted, TWICE! What a good guy. ;)

We did a photo booth which was SO fun! We got lots of cute, funny pictures from our guests and they seemed to love the props!

We decided to do a candy guessing game because who doesn't love the chance to win yummy candy?! I framed the Suessical poem to spice it up a bit. And I got "1" candles and the jars from the DollarTree! Woohoo! We ordered the Happy Birthday To You book from amazon (my FAV) and asked the guests to sign it for Mateo! Again, framed a fun poem with the instructions.

We bought lots of Children's toothbrushes to give out as favors! I framed a little excerpt from The Tooth Book and tied a little thank-you card to each! These were a HUGE HIT! Definitely didn't expect that. HAHA!

And here is one last picture of my little man "smashing" his cake. HA! And big Sis was right there to lend a helping hand! Love my babies!

Hope you enjoyed the walk through his party! He really enjoyed it and I loved planning it. Dr. Seuss for a first birthday was lots of fun! :)

Surprise, AZ :: Newborn Photographger

Meet Mason, who was 7 days new during his session! This sweet family of three made my job so easy! They are so in love with their little man, and it showed! Even their dog couldn't get enough of him. ;)

These are just two of the amazing details of this little guy's nursery!! His mom has great taste and I could probably do a whole blog about what I loved about his room! Haha!

I just love when couples are themselves during their session! Makes for such relaxed photos!

Here are a few more little details. ;) I love little newborn details photos and try to get as many as possible for my families!

Can you tell they are IN LOVE!? I think that is definitely clear!

And one last one of my favorite shots of Mason. He looks like such a little angel! And he totally was! He hardly made a peep and when he did, mama started to nurse him and I got some beautiful shots of that too! :)

Phoenix, AZ :: Newborn Photographer

MAN! Have I been slacking or WHAT?! Maybe I can chalk it up to planning our little guy's first birthday party and that was consuming my life... but really I think I just got lazy! We all have those moments, right?

So let's catch up!

Here is my sweet friend, Crystal. I'm sure you remember her as the super cute preggo in the bathing suit! Well she had her little guy and he is the cutest thing!

Such a sweet little boy. He was so cooperative during the session too!

I love lifestyle newborn sessions! They make for much more personal photos than the very posed ones. I, of course, will get a few of those, but my sessions, for the most part, are the new family!

I just love this picture! Such a fun angle! Sleeping so peacefully in the carseat!

He told me that he had had ENOUGH! ;)
